Josh LaPrease brings more than 11 years of environmental consulting experience and leads Citadel EHS’s Building Sciences department. A Certified Asbestos Consultant and Lead Inspector/Assessor, Josh combines hands-on technical expertise with responsibility for the people, projects, clients, and day-to-day operations of the Building Sciences team.
Josh oversees the delivery of Building Sciences projects from initial planning and investigation through regulatory compliance, reporting, and project completion. His experience includes asbestos, lead, and hazardous materials consulting; staff and client management; technical and quality oversight; and the development of practical solutions tailored to complex project and facility needs.
Throughout his career, Josh has supported projects across aerospace and defense, commercial real estate, K–12 education, higher education, public agencies, and other complex facilities and portfolios. His experience includes both field and project leadership as well as work involving local, county, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
With a strong understanding of both field conditions and client priorities, Josh focuses on maintaining technical quality, responsive service, and consistent project delivery across Citadel’s Building Sciences work.
