Citadel EHS has provided long-term environmental remediation and redevelopment support for a former aerospace and aircraft manufacturing facility in San Leandro, California. Aerospace manufacturing operations occurred at the approximately 14-acre property from the mid-1950s through the 1990s, resulting in chlorinated volatile organic compounds, including trichloroethene (TCE) and its degradation products, in soil, groundwater, and soil vapor.

The Santa Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL), located at 5800 Woolsey Canyon Road in Canoga Park, California, is a former U.S. government energy research and development facility. Although industrial operations ceased in 2006, the site contains residual radionuclide, soil, groundwater, and stormwater contamination. The responsible parties - Boeing, NASA, and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) - are conducting a comprehensive environmental cleanup to support long-term site restoration and safe future use.
