Citadel EHS provides ongoing groundwater and wastewater compliance consulting services at a Bottling Plant to support compliance with a Monitoring and Reporting Program (MRP) and associated Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Diego Region (SDRWQCB).
The facility produces bottled drinking water using groundwater extracted from an onsite production well, which is treated prior to bottling. Wastewater generated from plant operations is discharged to an onsite wastewater holding pond. The site also includes four monitoring wells used to evaluate groundwater quality and demonstrate compliance with permit conditions and basin plan objectives.
To meet regulatory requirements, Citadel EHS conducts monthly and quarterly groundwater and wastewater effluent sampling in accordance with the approved Monitoring and Reporting Program. Services include field inspections, sample collection, coordination with certified analytical laboratories, and validation and evaluation of water quality data to confirm compliance with permit limits.
Citadel EHS also prepares and submits Annual Monitoring Reports summarizing groundwater and wastewater analytical results, compliance status, and permit-required documentation. All reporting is completed in accordance with SDRWQCB requirements and submitted in a timely manner.
