One specialized safety assignment involved a combustible dust hazard analysis for an aluminum powder production process at an aerospace manufacturing facility. Citadel evaluated operating and safe work procedures, housekeeping practices, dust-generating processes and emission locations, potential ignition sources, and existing safeguards intended to manage fire, deflagration, and explosion hazards, along with safe operating ranges, maximum allowable quantities, and potential controls for reducing risk. Citadel also performed targeted occupational and indoor environmental investigations involving fiberglass dust and airborne particulates, using NIOSH-based air sampling, real-time particulate monitoring, bulk material sampling, and accredited laboratory analysis — supporting the client's high-hazard aerospace operations and mission-critical facility safety requirements.
