Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel

Citadel EHS provided environmental due diligence, hazardous materials consulting, and abatement oversight for the multi-year redevelopment of the historic Century Plaza Hotel property. Services included Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, comprehensive Environmentally Regulated Materials surveys across more than 600,000 square feet, and evaluation of asbestos, lead, PCBs, universal wastes, and other regulated materials.

Citadel also prepared hazardous materials removal specifications, supported contractor bidding, monitored asbestos and lead abatement, performed air and clearance testing, assisted with underground storage tank closure, and developed Operations & Maintenance programs for materials remaining after renovation.

The work supported the property from pre-development due diligence through construction, closeout, and ongoing facility operations.
