Citadel EHS has provided building sciences, industrial hygiene, environmental health, and regulated materials consulting services for Healthcare Realty properties and project sites since 2021. Assignments have supported facility management, renovation planning, environmental due diligence, and construction-related risk management across occupied healthcare environments.

As one representative assignment, Citadel performed a Limited Regulated Materials Survey in support of a tenant improvement remodel at a MultiCare Health System facility in Tacoma, Washington. The assessment focused on asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and lead-containing paint within the planned renovation area.

Citadel conducted a visual assessment of the project area, identified suspect building materials, collected bulk samples for asbestos analysis and paint-chip samples for lead analysis, coordinated laboratory testing, evaluated the analytical results, and prepared a technical report with findings and recommendations to support renovation planning and regulatory compliance.

The work demonstrates Citadel's ability to help healthcare property owners, facility managers, and construction teams identify regulated-material risks before renovation and construction activities begin. By integrating field investigation, laboratory analysis, regulatory knowledge, and clear project documentation, Citadel provides practical information teams can use to plan work, manage potential exposures, coordinate contractors, and maintain compliance within active healthcare properties.
