Start a conversationOverview
Environmental remediation requires more than identifying contamination - it requires a clear, cost-effective strategy solutions that can be implemented in the field real world. Citadel EHS provides environmental remediation design and engineering services for contaminated soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sites, helping clients evaluate cleanup options, meet regulatory requirements, and move projects toward closure.
Our team develops practical remedial strategies based on site conditions, contaminant type characteristics, project goals, regulatory expectations requirements, and budget considerations. From remedial investigations and feasibility studies through remedy design, implementation, system optimization, and post-remediation monitoring, we deliver technically sound solutions that reduce risk, support redevelopment, and protect human health and the environment.

How we've delivered

Private Property Owner & Redevelopment Team
High-Priority Dry Cleaner Remediation & Redevelopment Support
Citadel EHS implemented and manages the remediation of a high-priority dry-cleaning site in Marin County, under the oversight of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board (SFBRWQCB). The site, which is among SFBRWQCB's highest-priority cases, was impacted by chlorinated volatile organic compounds (VOCs) contamination in soil, soil vapor, and groundwater from historical dry-cleaning operations.

Private Industrial Property Owner
PFAS and Chlorinated Solvent Remediation at a Former Electroplating Facility
Citadel EHS is leading the investigation and remediation of a 3.5-acre former electroplating facility in San Mateo County under the oversight of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board (SFBRWQCB). Site investigations identified chlorinated volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including trichloroethene (TCE), as well as PFAS impacts associated with historical industrial operations.

Sensor Systems, Inc.
Comprehensive VOC Investigation, Vapor Mitigation & Site Remediation at Aerospace Manufacturing Facility
Citadel EHS provides multidisciplinary environmental, industrial hygiene, and building sciences consulting for an active aerospace manufacturing facility in Chatsworth, California. Citadel’s involvement began with environmental due diligence and expanded as investigations identified chlorinated volatile organic compound (VOC) impacts, including TCE and PCE, requiring further evaluation of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and potential vapor intrusion pathways.
